This is not a history assignment, but one about high school and career awareness. It is a state requirement to graduate. Milwee's 8th grade U.S. history teachers are helping you meet this requirement. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY!!!
This assignment meets the new state requirement for all middle school students to have completed a career plan, an academic plan and to have access to specific resources. You probably have already completed most of the work in your prior iJourney class and this is your last step to "reach your destination." This is a requirement of all middle schoolers in the state of Florida. There are three parts to this mini-unit and they can be done in approximately 2-3 "class periods", but since most of you have completed parts 1 & 2, this should be quick.
A. If you already completed the Career Plan, Academic Plan, AND Survey (probably if you took iJourney this school year), you are done. I have your name on a list and I've given you credit for this assignment in the form of a grade in eCampus and Skyward. You can stop reading and go on living your life. Bye. (Only about 10 of you are already done.) B. If you have a Career Plan AND an Academic Plan from your previous iJourney class that you saved to your ePortfolio, you can go straight to Part 3 - Your SURVEY section. (To access your eCampus ePortfolio, click on your circular account avatar in the top left of this screen, and then select "ePortfolio.") You will need you Career Plan AND your Academic Plan to complete the survey. (Most of you are here.) C. If you don't have a Career Plan AND an Academic Plan, you need to complete these before you take the Survey. (Either you didn't take iJourney, or you didn't do what you were supposed to do in iJourney. Only about 10 of you are are in this situation.) To access Career Plan, Academic Plan, AND Survey directions, you need to go to the "2019-20 Career & Academic Plans -Reach Your Destination - Your Career and Academic Plans 2019-20" course here in eCampus.
